Daniel Kočmaroš, a physiotherapist with a passion for relieving pain, specialises in sports rehabilitation. He graduated from The Jerzy Kukuczka Academy of Physical Education in Katowice, Poland (Physiotherapy Department) with his bachelors and masters degree and gained both theoretical and practical knowledge. His expertise in the field of physiotherapy includes laser therapy, electrotherapy, magnetotherapy, myofascial relaxation, therapeutic massage, kinesiology taping, lymphatic drainage, dry needling and acupuncture. However, his main interest lies in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture and he has even completed a 2-year professional course in this field.
Before becoming a part of the Southgate Physio clinic, Daniel worked and volunteered in private practices, where his main responsibilities were to render physiotherapy services including physical therapy, manual therapy and kinesiotherapy. He has worked as a volunteer, as well as, a full-time physiotherapist with Rehabilitation Centre Magdalena Bułanowska. His hands-on training and experience makes him an important part of the Southgate Physio team.
Daniel’s vast experience in the field of orthopaedics and sports rehabilitation, and expertise in working with patients of both traumatic and chronic origin, has made him one of the most go-to physiotherapists. He has actively taken part in debates, discussions and scientific symposia relating to soft tissue therapy, trigger point therapy, core stabilization and myofascial relaxation. He has taken up additional courses to expand his horizons and refine his skills. Daniel is fluent in English and Serbian, as well as, his native tongue, Polish.

Determined in constantly learning new things in the field of physiotherapy, Daniel has numerous certifications to his name, such as Traditional Chinese Medicine (2016), Training of Manual Therapy Techniques in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation (2016), Hot Stone & Cupping Therapy (2016), Contemporary Methods of Diagnosis and Treatment of Soft Tissue Dysfunctions, Muscle Energising Techniques Part I & II (2015, 2016), Contemporary Methods of Diagnosis and Treatment of Soft Tissue Dysfunctions, Myofascial Release Part III (2016), among others.
